Refund policy
Boost Your Lunch — Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective date: September 4, 2025
Plain-English summary: You can cancel and get a refund before delivery if you request it before the order deadline shown for your school/program day. After the deadline, we’ve released orders to vendors and cannot refund.
1) Definitions
- Program Day: A scheduled service day for your school (e.g., Pizza Tuesday, Smoothie Friday).
- Order Deadline: The cutoff posted on the menu/checkout for your school and date. Deadlines may vary by school or vendor.
- Delivery: When items are delivered to the school for distribution to students.
2) Eligibility for Refunds
- Before the deadline: Cancel any item/date and receive a full refund to your original payment method.
- After the deadline: Orders are locked for production and delivery—no refunds are available.
3) Multi‑Date Orders & Passes
- If your order covers multiple future dates, undelivered dates canceled before their deadlines are refundable; delivered dates are not.
4) How to Cancel
- Use your account/order page if the cancel option is shown; otherwise email orders@boostyourlunch.com before the deadline.
- Please include: order number, school, student name, and the date(s)/item(s) to cancel.
5) Processing Your Refund
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- Card issuers typically post refunds within 3–10 business days (timing varies by bank).
6) Program Changes, Closures, or Cancellations
- If a program day is canceled by the school or vendor (e.g., closure, snow day, supply issues), we’ll attempt to reschedule or substitute. If that’s not possible, we’ll issue a refund or credit for the affected items.
7) Exceptions
- After-deadline requests are not refundable due to perishable production and vendor costs.
- Orders placed with incorrect student/class info can be corrected before delivery; contact us promptly.
